First Dozer in NSW to be set up with Trimble Earthworks 3D Mastless dozer system!
We’re stoked to announce that SITECH Solutions has had the pleasure of installing the very remarkable Trimble Earthworks 3D Mastless Dozer system onto a John Deere 950K dozer – the very first of its kind in NSW.
We completed handover yesterday of the now unstoppable machine to RDO Equipment Australia for their happy customer DSA Contracting and it’s now fully set up to start work in Caddens on a 300-block subdivision project.
The Trimble Earthworks 3D mastless dozer system has revolutionised the industry by mounting dual GNSS receivers on top of the cab, to eliminate masts and cables traditionally located on the blade. The dual GNSS receivers are designed for steep slope work and complex designs with tight tolerances. According to Trimble, the new configuration keeps valuable receivers safer and can also save contractors time by reducing the time needed to remove and reinstall them each day. Trimble Earthworks gives operators of all skill levels the ability to work faster and more productively and allows data files to be transferred to or from the office wirelessly and automatically, keeping designs current.
